Grant Willmington
Partner Bio – Grant Willmington After completing secondary study in 1998, Grant commenced a 9 year career in the marine industry. Over this time Grant gained exposure to all facets of the marine industry including detailing, workshop co-ordinating, boat sales and management. Grant worked in some of the country’s premier marine dealerships selling boats and marine electronics and progressed to operations manager in 2005. In this role Grant quickly learned the value of integrity, honesty and loyalty when dealing with clients and suppliers, and also an insight into marine finance. Grant recognised that the fundamentals of the marine and finance industry were very similar – both required good communication and listening skills and also an in depth understanding of the client’s needs. In 2007 Grant joined Crediflex in pursuit of a career as a full time finance broker. Crediflex was able to provide Grant with a diverse range of products and financing solutions across mortgage, equipment and commercial finance. This has allowed Grant to expand his knowledge and skills widely and in turn offer his clients a diverse portfolio of products and services. Grant currently operates alongside another Crediflex partner, Susan Hall, and has learned that by working together he and Susan can provide a service that is second to none. The most rewarding aspect of Grant’s role is the client interaction and opportunity to provide a solution that meets their desired requirements. Grant sees each client having their own set of unique circumstances and he has found by being equipped with a range of lenders and options, this has led to a high level of client satisfaction. Grant looks forward to meeting many more clients in the future and sharing many years with Crediflex.
