John has been involved in the Banking and Finance Industry for over 30 years, primarily with Esanda Finance and the ANZ Bank. His career has involved working in Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

John’s primary focus throughout has been on Small Business, Commercial and Consumer Finance. In the early part of his career he was based in Perth and Bunbury, WA. In the 1990's he helped ANZ Retail Bank establish its small business Lending Centres and Commercial Banking operations in Perth, before moving to a Senior Relationship Management role in (Motor Vehicle) Dealer Finance at Esanda WA.

In 1996 John was appointed to a Senior Management role at Esanda’s National Call Centre in Melbourne. He also assisted in establishing ANZ Direct and Esanda Direct Car Loans as specialist car finance products. Subsequently he was appointed to a Corporate Head Office role as National Manager Operations.

In 1999 John was appointed Project Leader of the GST design and implementation team at Esanda Head Office. After successfully overseeing the transition to the new GST tax regime, John left the ANZ and returned to Perth at the end of 2000.

John is an Associate of the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance and holds a Bachelor of Business Degree (majoring in Banking and Finance) from The Western Australian Institute of Technology, now Curtin University.

He has also completed an Executive Development Program at the University Of New South Wales. He has a Finance Brokers Licence allowing him to practice in WA.

Since returning to Perth John has worked in a Senior Management Lending role at United Credit Union and as a Financial Consultant to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. In 2002 John started his own successful Financial and Management Consulting Practice.

He joined CrediFlex in October 2002 as a Partner. CrediFlex is fully licenced in Western Australia.
