Mike has in excess of 30 years experience in the Banking and Financing Industry, mainly with ANZ Bank. He is a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance.

The majority of this time has been in Management roles, in both WA and Queensland. This has involved Branch Management, Small Business Relationship Management and over the last 12 years, Senior Management roles such as District and Regional Manager.

Mike and his teams have enjoyed much success mainly due to Mike’s professionalism, enthusiasm and the fact that they have never lost sight of customers and relationships. “Banking has changed substantially over the years but some things never change – good old fashioned customer service. Keeping close to your clients, understanding their business and their needs ensure that they receive the level of service and support they deserve.”

Mike, his wife Ann, and two daughters have resided in WA for 25 years and have a very good understanding of the small business and real estate markets.

Mike left ANZ in February 2002 and has established Mike Yates & Associates which is successfully assisting small business operators with planning, financial understanding and providing strategies to increase profitability.

He joined CrediFlex in September 2002 as he believes the concept matches his beliefs and values – “Traditional values, modern solutions”. WA is a very exciting market to be involved in and Mike looks forward to assisting both small business and consumer clients in achieving their financial goals.

Mike is also passionate about his sport (soccer, cricket and football) and about keeping fit. He makes time to ensure that his appetite for both is satisfied.
